  • Upload timestamps

We automatically collect:

  • Pages visited and resources viewed

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide and maintain the Platform

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, which provides enterprise-grade security including encryption at rest and in transit. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

Uploaded HTML files are stored in secure cloud storage with access controls. Thumbnails and previews are generated and cached to improve performance.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Supabase: Database and authentication services
  • Google OAuth: Optional authentication method
  • Whitelisted CDNs: Content delivery for external libraries in visualizations (cdnjs.cloudflare.com, cdn.jsdelivr.net, unpkg.com, cdn.plot.ly, d3js.org, fonts.googleapis.com)
  • OpenAI: Content moderation API for reviewing submissions

These services have their own privacy policies governing their use of your data.

6. Data Sharing

Public Content: Resources you upload are publicly visible and licensed under CC BY-SA 4.0. Your display name will be shown as the creator.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only:

  • With service providers who assist in operating the Platform
  • To comply with legal requirements or court orders
  • To protect our rights, privacy, safety, or property
  • In connection with a merger or acquisition (with notice)

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
  • Correction: Update or correct inaccurate information
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your account and personal data
  • Export: Download your uploaded content and account data
  • Withdraw Consent: Opt out of marketing communications

9. Children's Privacy

EduArc Hub is designed for educational use by all ages. However, account creation requires users to be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in their jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.

10. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Usage logs are typically retained for 90 days. Uploaded content remains available under CC BY-SA 4.0 until removed. After account deletion, we may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

11. International Users

EduArc Hub is operated globally. By using the Platform, you consent to the transfer of your information to countries that may have different data protection laws than your country of residence. We take steps to ensure your data receives adequate protection.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice on the Platform or sending an email to registered users. Your continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
